Jerry Wesslen founded Wesslen Construction in the 1983, taking on projects across Washington before eventually settling in Spokane. He has always had a passion for problem-solving and tackling unique and challenging projects. One of his most memorable projects was building a fire station atop a mountain range—an adventure that involved sleeping in tents and sharing lunch breaks with the mountain goats.

Jeff is a graduate of Civil Engineering with extensive experience in both the design side of projects and the actual construction of projects. He has over 30 years of experience in concrete work, building construction, pile driving and marine work.

With over 30 years of experience in construction accounting and contract management, Heidi brings a deep understanding of job cost accounting, payroll management, and financial reporting—ensuring every detail is handled with care and precision.

Michael plays a key role in keeping our office running smoothly, handling everything from managing RFIs and schedules to billings and contracts. His attention to detail and dedication make him an essential part of our team.

Ben has been a valued member of the Wesslen team for nearly 25 years, playing a vital role in bringing our projects to life. As the lead on-site superintendent, he brings a wealth of experience across multiple disciplines, including underground utilities, excavation, marine work, crane and pile driving, and concrete construction. His expertise and dedication ensure every project runs smoothly and successfully.

Gabe became part of the Wesslen team in 2024, bringing both a civil engineering degree and a wealth of hands-on experience. His background includes working as an engineer in training for structural and water engineering firms, a project engineer for general contractors specializing in high-value buildings, and a field engineer for a specialized marine diving contractor. Before pursuing his engineering degree, Gabe spent a decade as a carpenter, crafting custom homes across Arizona, California, and Washington. His diverse experience and passion for construction make him a great addition to our team.
